Acute Superior mesenteric vein thrombosis(SMV)
Respected Doctor sharing endoscopic ultrasound guided (EUS) thrombolysis (streptokinase) injection for Acute Superior mesenteric vein thrombosis(SMV).
Patient presented with severe pain CT scan suggestive of SMV thrombosis. SMV was punctured by 19 G needle through D2.
Post thrombolysis patient had symptom relief. LMWH and Acitrom were started as per guidelines.
Follow up CT shows complete resolution of thrombus at Noble Gastro hospital
